Yalata
Indigenous Protected Area (The Lands) is located at the Head of
the Great Australian Bight, about 1,000km from Adelaide on the West
Coast of South Australia. Situated northwest of Ceduna and south
of the trans-Australian railway line, and east of Kalgoorlie in
Western Australia.
This
is truly remote Australia and the only way to Yalata is by road.
There are daily domestic airline flights from
Adelaide to Ceduna.
Travelling
from Western Australia, a flight from Perth to Adelaide with connections
to Ceduna and car rental is the best option.
